Professional Event Medical Associates, LLC (Pro Event Med) was established after identifying a clear need for a dedicated event medical service in the Savannah Georgia area. Our warm weather, beautiful beaches, and extremely active local residents mean the outdoor event season runs close to year-round. We provide paramedic level advanced life support services for events of any size including major indoor and outdoor sporting events, concert and entertainment venues, hotels and trade and convention centers. Our experienced team allows us to deliver high quality, professional, scalable and cost-effective on site medical care for any event, from 10 to 10,000.

Pro Event Med isn’t a typical ambulance transport service that sometimes goes to events.

Events are all we do.

We are focused 100% on YOUR event. We’re well versed in special event planning, resource management, team deployment and the unpredictable world of event medicine. We take all risk factors into consideration and make sure the proper equipment and resources are in place to address all potential scenarios. Our goal is to pre-plan for your event and then deliver; working tirelessly to ensure your event remains safe for your participants, guests, and staff.

Rob Walker, NREMT-P, is Pro Event Med’s owner and has decades of EMS and management experience, including several years as the Director of Operations for the Seattle Area Red Cross FAST team, which provided primary medical support for dozens of on site events yearly, including the Taste of Seattle and HempFest, which regularly drew over 300,000 attendees. Rob also worked as a paramedic in Delaware and provided medical support for the World Championship Punkin Chunkin and Firefly Music Festival at Dover Downs. Rob also has an extensive background in broadcast operations, programming and event management. You heard him most recently on the radio every morning on Rewind 107.9 and may have met him in his role as Director of Operations for Alpha Media’s 6 radio stations in Savannah and Hilton Head Island.

Today, Rob is an active EMS educator and works as a 911 paramedic in Liberty County. He lives in Savannah with his wife, daughter and furry black lab. In his spare time, Rob enjoys biking, spending time with his family on Tybee Island, camping, a cold craft brew and Savannah Banana’s Baseball.
