Do you need an Event Action Plan?

Do you need an Event Action Plan?

You know that feeling you have when you leave the house and feel like you forgot something? Keys? Check. Phone? Check. Wallet? Check. Suddenly, you realize that you left the oven on, and you can turn back around to safely shut it off. Whew! That was close!

Thankfully, you have that feeling to remind you. Unfortunately, event organizers, especially new ones, don’t always have this feeling when they forget something important.

For instance, what happens on site in the event of a serious emergency?

An Event Action Plan (EAP) should always be on your preplan agenda and when it’s prepared with our assistance, it won’t be a difficult process to complete for most events or functions.

Pro Event Med can assist with development and on site implementation for your specific EAP, including site planning for suddent severe weather and other emergencies, evacuation procedures and practices, communication plans, accountability systems for staff and participants as well as supervising and coordinating emergency activities on site.

Once your EAP is developed and ready for implementation, an onsite supervisor from Pro Event Med will review the plan with your event staff to be sure everyone understands the function and elements of your event action plan, including types of potential emergencies, reporting procedures and all communication and evacuation plans.

Contact us now to prepare and implement an EAP for your next event.
